I’m a photographer based in Yorkshire and I’ve been photographing weddings for around 9 years. My overall style is very natural and my main aim is to capture as many ‘real’ images as possible so that your final gallery can tell a story of your day that is completely authentic.

Once the formalities are done and dusted I’m basically here for the perfect imperfection… the veil madly blowing in the wind, the kids who aren’t ‘behaving’ themselves, the unhinged laughter, all the parts that make your day unique. I don’t believe in forcing something that isn’t naturally there but I will guide when needed in order to produce a gallery full of images that you can look back on in years to come and say “look how much fun we had!”

So what can you expect from me on your day?

To be honest, it’s hard to say without having a chat with you first. I like to think of myself as a chameleon as I believe it’s important to blend in with the guests and flow of the day. No wedding is ever the same to me, if you want a massive party, I’m here for it. If you would prefer fly-on-the-wall shots, that’s great! Maybe you want a bit of both as the party warms up (I know what it’s like once the drinks start flowing) - absolutely fine by me.

It’s also super important that we gel, we don’t have to be best buds (although I do see my couples as friends by the end) but that you feel you can relax around me and have quiet moments with each other yet still be content with me snapping away in the background.
